PALAGIANELLO Taranto (Puglia)
Nature and welness, Food and wine
Palagianello rises on a mainly plain territory, rich in ravines. There are lots of rupestrian settlements still existing because the modern buildings grew leaning on the ancient ones generating a new pattern that didn’t spoil this typical rupestrian landscape of Palagianello. In fact one of the most interesting buildings is Madonna delle Grazie Sanctuary built just on the ruins of a rupestrian crypt. Not to be missed a visit to the Castle Stella-Caracciolo as well, dating back to the 1300.
