Dogs are our friends, they are welcome and petted, have a bowl of water and a biscuits. Only those who have a dog can understand what love exists betwen an animal and its master and how sad can be for an animal to stay in a dog house when we are on holiday. Some refuse to eat, some get sad or fall ill...How can we lie in the sun if our Fido is not with other people? I have given up merry holidays for my little friends Therefore there is nothing better than to make your pet a merry and joiful”fellow-traveller”!! Both of you will have better holidays!!

Breakfast can be sweet or salty, you can have coffee, “cappuccino”, thè or fruit juice, then on request croissants, biscuits, canapés, “friselline” with tomatoes and fresh fruit in season..

Now you have only to choose which shore you want to reach and you can decide in the same way of the “leccesi” who are at the same distance from the two seas. It is the wind which makes the difference: if it is “tramontana” you choose the Jonian shores, if it is “scirocco” you choose the Adriatic ones. With any wind we can bath in a calm sea. You can also bath in the splendid sandy coast of Gallipoli in the morning, have lunch with delicious shellfishes on the rocks of Santa Maria al Bagno or Santa Caterina. You can spend the evening in the wonderful Otranto where you can visit the famous mosaics of the cathedral in which the bones of “otrantini” martyrs are kept and also go shopping in the many little shops of the historical town center, a real melting pot of cultures. From the B&B “La Terrazza” you take only a few minutes to drive into the SS Lecce-Maglie leading to Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca or into the SS to Gallipoli. You can also shorten from the inland and reach the wonderful shores towards Porto Cesareo. Here the sea is a natural protected area for is riches and in the period of less flow of tourists is in no way inferior to Maldives for its islands and islets, the best known of them is the “Isola dei conigli” which little groups of tourists can reach daily

The B&B is at three minutes’ walk from the South East Railway Station and those who make use of public means can take a bus which in five minutes will drive you to Lecce. Moreover Lecce, the villages of the Salento and the coastline are connected by several buses.
